Ashbocking Garage is hands down the best garage near Ipswich and Suffolk — trustworthy, affordable, and truly professional.

I brought my Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV here after being let down by main dealers, and the difference was night and day. The team at Ashbocking Garage took time to diagnose the problem properly (a rear diff mount issue), gave me a fair quote straight away, and kept me informed at every stage.

Their honesty, kindness, and professionalism really stand out. They don’t overcharge, they explain everything clearly, and they genuinely care about doing the job right. My car feels smoother than ever, and they saved me almost £1,000 compared to the dealership quote!

If you’re looking for a reliable, honest garage near Ipswich that knows hybrids and PHEVs, this is the place to go.

It’s so rare to find mechanics who combine top-quality workmanship with compassion and transparency. Ashbocking Garage has earned my complete trust — I won’t take my car anywhere else.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting a local, dependable, and friendly mechanic team in Suffolk.

Thank you again to everyone at Ashbocking — you’ve restored my faith in good garages! 🙏

My Son in laws key fob battery for his car was on it way out. The guys were quick to help. Friendly and did not over charge. Even put the battery in for him.
Big thanks.

These guys are the best. They say lightening doesn’t strike twice; whilst staying locally to visit relatives, on two separate occasions the car let us down. A 3 hour recovery trip with car and caravan loomed large. Both times Ben and Stefan pulled out all the stops to get us back on the road to enjoy our trip and then get us back home. Their professional, friendly service is second to none.We can’t thank them enough.
